About
Scott Siebert
From a young age I have always been fascinated with the outdoors. I grew up fishing and hunting with my dad which instilled in me my love for nature and wild things. I didn't start seriously getting into art until I was in high school. Once I discovered this passion, I tried experimenting with all different mediums, between painting, woodburning, pen and ink, I loved them all. It wasn't until recently, I discovered drawing on canvas with charcoal, which felt so natural. I pursued it and haven't looked back! I love to create wildlife portraits of just about any animal, particularly ones that reside here in North Idaho.
I was born and raised in Coeur d' Alene Idaho and absolutely love it here. My wife and I just had our first daughter and life is moving at a very fast (but good) pace! I teach fifth grade at a local school and couldn't imagine doing anything else. When I am not at school, I love to get out in the woods and enjoy what Idaho has to offer. Hunting, fishing, hiking, you name it! I hope to capture natures beauty in my work for everyone to enjoy. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
